Senior Associate, Investment Banking / Corporate Development

Location: Richmond, VA (in person 3+ days/week)

Founded in 2024 by former M&A leaders at public companies such as GE, ABB, and Genworth, we specialize in outsourced corporate development, private M&A advisory, and debt and equity capital raising’ for clients across energy, financial services, professional services, and industrial sectors.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a senior associate, you’ll be joining a team of industry leaders as the first full-time hire. You will have high exposure and involvement in all aspects of our deal processes, including these responsibilities:

  • Support M&A transactions: financial modeling, offering materials, buyer list, solicitation, due diligence, and execution
  • Support corporate development engagements: strategic road-mapping, target sourcing, outreach, management meetings, execution, and portfolio reviews
  • Craft insightful materials: pitch books, financial models, ClMs, teasers, market analyses, internal reports
  • Coordinate with clients, bankers, investors, and advisors throughout the deal cycle
  • Conduct market and target company research across sectors
  • Manage client deliverables and project timelines with precision
  • Lead portions of client presentations and participate in strategic discussions
  • Assist with managing company operations
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 4+ years of experience in investment banking, corporate development, strategy consulting, or related field
  • BA/BS in finance, economics, or related field (MBA or securities licenses a plus)
  • Experience in energy, financial services, professional services, industrial sectors a plus
  • Excellent Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and data analysis skills
